Hill Top Primary Academy

Year three are having an amazing time in the forest. They are very creative and are enjoying learning new skills.
Part of the learning in the Forest is about dressing correctly for the weather. There are a a handful of children who have had a miserable forest experience today because they were very cold.
It is such a shame when we have to come back early because there are some children who do not have warm clothing.
I have spoken to them all today about the importance of layers, extra socks, hats and gloves. They may want to wear extra tights, leggings or joggers on forest day. Lots of them have extra fleeces too.
I have asked them to talk to you on Thursdays about making sure they will be warm enough.
