Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time and effort to look at our school website, we are very proud of it. Whether you are a parent, carer or child who is already a member of our school community or are considering our school for your child in the future we hope you find the information here both interesting and informative.

At Hill Top we welcome parents, carers and children as partners in the education process. A successful partnership involves close co-operation, support and trust as well as recognising that the best education can only be provided when we have a shared vision and responsibility. To this end, Parents are invited in to school at the end of each Topic to see the exciting work that has been going on. Many classes invite Parents in to help complete a topic, especially if it has an Art or DT conclusion.

About Our School

Hill Top Primary opened in 2002 and was the first purpose built Private Finance Initiative (PFI) school in Leeds offering enviable facilities including large playgrounds, a sports field, a fabulous hall and superb ICT facilities. We have further improved our grounds, assisted by strong partnerships with local businesses with the building of a garden and a nature area which will promote outdoor learning. FOHT helped to fund the climbing equipment and the Outdoor Learning Area in KS1 and are helping us to fund the new facilities we hope to have in KS2 before July 2019.

We strive to be an inclusive school and offer a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum, which is challenging and stimulating and meets the needs of all our pupils regardless of ability, gender or ethnicity.

I hope this website will give you a flavour of what our school has to offer and invite you to come and see for yourself.
