We chose St George's Day to have a day of English culture. We dressed in the colours of the English flag and the whole day was based on England. From rousing anthems in assembly, the story of St George, our own royal family and everything English. Everyone joined in. Mr and Mrs Noble brought in some costumes representing clothes through the ages. We would like to say a big thank you to them and to Homburgs, The Theatrical Costumiers, for making this possible. Some of the costumes have been worn by members of LAOS (Leeds Amateur Operatic Society).
